Position: Warehouse-Plant Technician

Activities: Position requires loading and unloading vehicles, staging and processing of waste, emptying waste containers, and decontamination of containers, vehicles, and facilities according to procedural guidelines. All duties will be performed in a safe and productive manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performance of duties based on compliance guidelines.

Complete all daily documents as required in an organized manner.
Staging, scanning, and processing waste; including count verifications, weighing, and safe handling and emptying of containers, where applicable.
Keeping waste stored and labeled as required.
Reloading sanitized re-usable containers in accordance with load sheets.
Assist with keeping warehouse and yard clean and organized.
Safe operation of processing and sanitizing equipment.
Use of personal protective equipment as required.
Assist in various duties of the operation as directed.

Position Requirements and Details:

Workweek: Monday-Friday. O/T may be required.
Must work safely and carefully to prevent injury to self and others while driving, loading, and unloading vehicle. Requires constant mental and visual attention relative to the safe performance of duties.
Must be able to exert up to 150 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 60 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, push or pull carts weighing as much as 300 pounds.
May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.

Education and Experience:

Education equivalent to graduation from high school, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating the ability to read a map, interact professionally with various levels of internal/external customers, and portray a strong professional appearance and attitude at all times and in all situations.
Ability to use electronic devices for scanning and processing.
Fork-lift experience a plus.
